“Good Wood” is about Philip, a ex-professional tennisplayer in his late 20s. His career hit rock bottom. The sudden death of his father lets him return to his home-village..somewhere in nowhere in northern germany. After the funeral Phillip meets up with two childhood friends, whom he hasn’t seen for 15 years. To find a purpose in life he has to confront his ghosts from the past… on the village bowling alley.
